You're not going to build private-sector jobs if you don't like business people.
If you're going to be successful, you better have a goal, you better find really good people, better understand where all the money's coming from. And you better measure the living daylights out of it.

Part of my job is to get out and talk to people. I do that as much as I can.
My job is to get people back to work and make tough decisions. I've been willing to do it.
I think most people are not willing to make the tough choices.
How much should the state be involved in regulating the growth in communities when you already have a county doing it, or a city doing it?
General revenue - what taxpayers are willing to give government, what they think is fair to give government - is not going to grow at the same amount that the federal government basically forces us to spend on Medicaid.
I don't look at polls.
