It's always a lot more fun as a quarterback if you can do things you don't normally get to do. So if I can catch a pass and make a play for the team, that's what I'm willing to do.

Whether you're a quarterback and you just threw a pick, or you're a corner and you just got beat for a touchdown, you've got to have a short-term memory, shake it off and play the next play.

Ultimately, if you look at the game and there are two minutes left, and you have to ensure your victory, you don't want to throw the damn football. You want a runner who can run the clock out.

I love having the ball with two minutes left, down a touchdown. That's when I'm right in the zone... I'm a Catholic and a quarterback. Those are the two things that really shape my life. I'd much rather be the underdog than the favorite any day of the week.

One thing I've been doing since I was a little kid and that's score touchdowns so if somebody needs somebody to get in the red zone and do some work, I could probably still do that pretty well.

To score points, you need a lot of consistent effort over the course of the game. If you're throwing it or running it in, it's not a big difference in terms of the score at all, obviously. But turnovers limit your scoring. That's the problem with turnovers.

As a quarterback, there's no better way to finish your year, in winning a Super Bowl, than with a touchdown pass. The chances of that happening, by the looks of most of the Super Bowls, is a very rare chance. Fortunately for me, I had an opportunity.
