The voters in District 8 shared our vision that Washington is broken, and we're going to go up there and fix it.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Washington is horribly broken. We are encountering a day of reckoning and this movement, this Tea Party movement, is a message to Washington that we're unhappy and that we want things done differently.
Every decision I make in Congress will be centered on the needs of the district.
If you're going to do something to hurt the district I represent, I can't vote for it.
If we don't change the way Washington operates we're going to bankrupt our children and grandchildren.
I know something. America is not broken, Washington, D.C. is broken.
I look forward to representing the voters of District 30 and moving the state in a new direction.
My whole deal is reforming, changing, shaking up Washington. It sure needs it.
What we need to do is to come together as a people and solve the problems facing our country. And unfortunately, Washington is just not doing enough of that these days.
With Washington already broken, the last thing we need is a left-wing version of the Tea Party.
Voters seem to understand what a big waste of time trying to change Washington is.
