At the end the day because I believe so strongly in leadership, what I look for first, what I try to assess, is integrity.

To me, integrity means always doing what is right and good, regardless of the immediate consequences. It means being righteous from the very depth of our soul, not only in our actions but, more importantly, in our thoughts and in our hearts.

The individual makes a clear effort to define moral values and principles that have validity and application apart from the authority of the groups of persons holding them and apart from the individual's own identification with the group.

If I were asked to say the most important things that lead to a successful life, I should say that, first of all, was integrity - unimpeachable integrity.

I stand for simple justice, equal opportunity and human rights. The indispensable elements in a democratic society - and well worth fighting for.
