My dad did show me interesting movies at a young age. I remember he showed me 'A Clockwork Orange,' and my mom said, 'I never want to see this movie in my house again.'

We're all comedy fans in my family. My parents mainly wouldn't let me watch stuff that was either annoying to them, or just garbage. My dad wouldn't let us watch 'The Flintstones' if he was home, because he said it was a rip-off of 'The Honeymooners'. But he would let us stay up really late in the summer and watch old 'Honeymooners'.

I kind of realize that I have a tendency to choose the kind of films I watched when I was a kid and would go home and pretend with my friends that we were in those movies after we saw them.

What I think is remarkable about my mum and dad is they had no interest in films, really. None.

They do put my films on TV from time to time. I don't go out of my way to watch them. But I'm now made to tape them for my daughter so that when she's old enough she can say, 'Hey, that's Daddy.'

My dad is into movies, and they let me watch movies. I was obsessed with Monty Python when I was in preschool - I don't know why.

My mom took me to see Carnal Knowledge and The Wild Bunch and all these kind of movies when I was a kid.
