There are so many good, young bands out there who aren't getting the attention they deserve.

Good bands you can kind of lose, then come back and realize they're still good.

It's hard for bands to stick it out because people grow up, and it never really pays off. If you're looking for some sort of payoff, it's not gonna happen.

In a lot of aspects it's cooler that we don't have a lot of really overly famous people in the band.

Let's point out the elephant in the room: Actor bands are not notoriously successful enterprises. I can't think of any.

It's a bummer sometimes but I always believe that great bands and great music always prevail.

I've created several musical trends, really. That's not because I'm so far out and fabulous. It's because most bands have no ideas of their own. They're so desperate they'll grab at any old straw.

That's what so sad about a lot of modern music, in my opinion, so many young bands never stay around long enough to fulfill their ultimate promise. They only get halfway there or a quarter of the way there.

Good new songs are the backbone of the music industry. There isn't an artist out there who could survive without hit songs.

Bands are like people. They're born and then they die.
