I started out in theater and then I got a job on a soap in New York.

So many actors started on soap operas. So yeah, I'd graduated Julliard and done some theater. I've done a few guest spots on TV but nothing that long-term. I did a little 'E.R.' back when it was on, and a pilot for 'Cold Case.'

I was an actress long before I was a reality TV person.

My dad became a soap opera actor, and I was an extra in a skating rink scene on the soap. I didn't audition. It was nepotism all the way.

It wasn't until I got involved in 'Doctor Who' that I started doing dramas on television.

Acting was always my first passion.
