I travel a ridiculous amount, so I've thought a lot about, and spent a lot of time refining, what I carry and how I carry it.

I collect a lot of clothes when I travel around the world.

In my hand luggage I always have my camera, iPod, make-up bag, tooth brush, cleansing products, clean underwear, socks and a change of clothes in case anything goes missing at the other end - and of course my passport.

Sometimes it's better to look at things than own them... owning means anxiety and lots of bags to carry around.

I don't have many possessions, apart from my books.

Never have anyone else carry your luggage. Pack only what you need.

I tend to pack light but still keep a large bag because I love to shop. For each destination I travel to, I like to buy something that the country or city is known for such as olive oil, truffle, jewelry, etc. I also like to buy perfumes because the smell brings me back to the memory of my travels.

I love my passport. I plan trips very last minute, so I always carry it with me.
