Skating has always been a major area of interest to me.

Skating everywhere is unpredictable, no amount of money or facilities is going to create a skating star. You have to have a skater who is dedicated, passionate, and willing to learn.

I want people to see a real person on the ice. I want to seem tangible, hard-working, passionate about my skating, not just going out and doing something I've rehearsed a million times.

I was terrible when I first started skating and was clinging onto the side for dear life, but it's something I'll always have now, and the tour is always so much fun.

I want to do some skating and then go to law school in three years. I'm enjoying it and I'm going to see where it takes me.

Skating isn't about the medals or the results. I love what I do. It's much more fun to win, but you cannot every time.

I get to see the different sides of skating now which involves not only competing, but entertainment.

As soon as I was introduced to ice speed skating, I was instantly hooked. I never thought about pursuing skating professionally; I just enjoyed doing it.

My skating is a very emotional thing that comes from the heart, never doing it for the medal.

I won't be skating for the rest of my life, that's for sure.
