Actors make less than you think.

The percentage of actors employed is pretty small, and if you're lucky enough to have a good run at it, you do have a sense of responsibility.

I've obviously made a very nice amount of money. I have a very nice lifestyle. I get to do what I love. Very few actors get to do that, and even fewer are lucky enough to work steadily for 24 years.

Nothing else is as fulfilling as playing a part in which you are able to have a significant say in the creative process all the way through. How many actors get to do that? It's extremely rare.
