There is a part of me that will forever want to be walking under autumn leaves, carrying a briefcase containing the works of Shakespeare and Yeats and a portable chess set. I like cups of tea and reading books and poetry and old people things.

I would much rather be on the couch all the time. But it turns out, I'm also agreeable. I'll agree to do a lot of things.

I don't really desire things. I prefer to spend my money on experiences, on meals or travel.

When I think about my ideal free day, it usually involves going into London and sitting in a nice coffeehouse with cake and coffee, but I would probably still have my notebook in my pocket.

I have candles, pictures and flowers on my nightstand... and of course a lamp!
