It's unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don't even give themselves a chance to see what they'll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I'll look like before I start cleaning the slates.

My appearance has changed a lot over the years, but it has far more to do with how I feel about being a woman.

I think I'm rather young and sprightly, but then you see pictures of yourself and think, 'Who is that old man?' and I realise I'm not as young as I thought I was.

I was born looking older - and I've been aging since I was a teenager.

That's been the tragedy of my life, actually. I've always looked younger than I am.

I look a lot like my father when he was my age.

Besides, at 62 years old I look like I'm about 27.
