I love working with photographers.

I get to work with great photographers, wear lovely clothes, be part of the creative process.

I love the work, I love being in front of the camera and working with actors and directors and creating something. For me, it's like learning everyday.

I enjoy looking at words on paper and visualizing how to make them come to life. As a director, the creative process is really amazing.

I love it when I surprise photographers that, despite the fact that I am deaf, I am capable of meeting their vision. I love it that I can read their body language and know what they do not like and what they do like.

I like working closely with artists. I think that's very important in fantasy and science fiction - the visual aspect of the worlds and the characters.

That is the great pleasure of working with great directors. You get to look at the world through many different prisms. I guess I love talent, whatever form it takes.

I feel that my job is to create an atmosphere where creative people can do their best work.

What I really like doing is storytelling, finding the body language that is necessary for the story. And when I'm doing it and it's working, I'm thrilled.

But I'm blessed to work with great people. I collaborate with brilliant stylists both here and in Paris. I work with a great design team. I really allow everyone to bring their ideas. I almost rely on them to inspire me.
