There was a point in time when I was in dire need of changing the way the model agency was working.

I actually wanted to become a model agent, and went into what ended up becoming my first agency for a job interview. They ended up suggesting I model instead. I guess I sort of fell into it.

I went to a modeling agency and said I wanted to be a model. I worked, worked, worked so much while I was studying.

I moved to New York between my junior and senior years of high school to just see what it was like, to go to a modeling agency and see how to get representation.

It all started when I went to this model search in Charlotte when I was 18. That's when I met all these agents and realized I could do it, and I won! I met a photographer at the competition who persuaded me to sign with a different agency than the one that was offered to me. So, I started with a small agency and eventually moved up to IMG.

I had already been approached to do modeling, but in the beginning, I didn't want to hear of it. Then, after two months of delivering pizza, I changed my mind, and I presented myself at the agency.

I signed with an acting agent first; I wasn't really interested in signing with a modeling agent. But that same day, they said, 'You should go over to Ford.'

I wanted to become a model since I was a kid.

I never really wanted to be a model. But when the opportunity came, I grabbed it.

I don't think we should be a model family living in a model home.
