Courses can, and should, incorporate the excitement and fun of programming games, apps or even real digital devices.

I've always had an interest in design, and I have always loved creating things.

It's lovely to have a part that requires you to learn something that's also interesting.

I like learning new stuff, and continuing to educate myself as best I can.

My experiences have taught me a lot and I'm happy with my learnings, if not with what I went through to learn.

What I like best is the challenge of learning something I didn't know how to do, going beyond my comfort level.

Clearly, programming courses should teach methods of design and construction, and the selected examples should be such that a gradual development can be nicely demonstrated.

So I went for engineering, specifically product design, which I enjoyed.
