I love this life. I feel like I am always catching my breath and saying, 'Oh! Will you look at that?' Photography has been my way of bearing witness to the joy I find in seeing the extraordinary in ordinary life. You don't look for pictures. Your pictures are looking for you.

I just think of everything I do and how happy it will make me to do it. I don't like having my photograph taken, for instance, so I don't do that often.

I never liked the idea of taking a photo just for yourself - I think everything is better when shared.

I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my loved ones, young and old, and at least once a year we get together for a formal family photograph.
