I wish my artwork could persuade millions of people to join a global conversation about sustainability.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I would like to see a future where artists think that they have a right to contemplate things like global warming.
Instead of me keeping my art a personal thing, we can use it to save lives, change lives and inspire.
It would make me feel that creative art has a chance in this crazy world that we all live in.
Part of my agenda has been to support art that engages life with people.
All art really does is keep you focused on questions of humanity, and it really is about how do we get on with our maker.
Art has to be reflective of our society.
I'm enamored with the art world.
Our art, in a sense, is quite revolutionary.
I want art to make me think. In order to do that, it may piss me off, or make me uncomfortable. That promotes awareness and change, or at least some discussion.
Sustainability can't be like some sort of a moral sacrifice or political dilemma or a philanthropical cause. It has to be a design challenge.
