Everybody remembers 'Just Shoot Me,' and I'm very proud of that. It's still on TV, and people still catch it and laugh about it, and I personally have wonderful, wonderful memories working with those people.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
'Firefly' was and always will be such a positive thing for me. I hold a lot of really good memories associated to that show.
I can still recall the thrill of shooting my first film.
I have such fond memories of watching 'Doctor Who' when I was a kid and growing up, that if I've left anybody anywhere with memories as fond, then I feel like I've done my job.
I'm so proud of this show and I'm really stoked that fans were so enthusiastic about the show so quickly. I mean, I got recognized for 'Arrow' at the airport when I was headed to Vancouver to shoot the second episode. That was kind of crazy.
I'm really proud of Gunsmoke. We put on a good show every week - one that families could all watch together without offending anyone.
I always remember loving 'Even Stevens' - that show was so brilliant and funny and smart.
I still run into people in the business who skip over any other credits I have and say, 'I loved 'Hey, Dude!' This was back in '88, '89, '90. It was a goofy show about kids working at a dude ranch in Arizona. We did 65 episodes; I wrote 13 of them. We didn't know what we were doing, but it was writers' boot camp. It was great.
When I started in the mid-'90s, the goal was really to shoot for a film career and stay there.
I remember loving 'Braveheart,' and I still do! It was one of those films my family had on video and we watched over and over again.
I have memories of films that nobody ever saw, that I was very proud of, and those are still great memories.
