I want to let fans know how much I appreciate them and how much I appreciate them showing interest in our music and me personally.

My fan base just growing and growing. People know that I'm not just coming and going. They know that I'm here to stay.

I feel like that's so important, to enjoy my own music. Because if I'm not passionate about my music, then it's going to show to the fans.

I just hope that our fans are people who are inspired by music, and just use our music as a background or inspiration for whatever it is they do.

While I'm here, I'm gonna milk it for all I can, so when I'm no longer hot - and I know that day is coming - I will step over here and enjoy everything I've created up to this point. The music is just opening all these doors, so I can relax.

I'm really in touch with my fans. Through their emails, letters and stories is how I decide what music I'm going to perform.

The fans have been really incredible everywhere we've been. You want to make sure you put on the best concert of your life to show them how appreciative you are.

I think my fans will follow me into our combined old age. Real musicians and real fans stay together for a long, long time.

We wanted to establish a new fan base over here. And second, we wanted to challenge ourselves. We wanted to bring what is ostensibly new music to fresh ears and see what lights them up.
