I am a religious person and rely heavily on prayers.

Prayer is a strong wall and fortress of the church; it is a goodly Christian weapon.

Ordinary Catholics are praying when they do not think they are. They are praying when they offer implicitly all they are doing to God.

As I prepare for this next phase in my life, I ask that people continue to offer the prayers that have protected me thus far. I also pray that I will always see those who are not seen and easy to forget in the hustle and bustle of Washington politics.

Until I feel strong enough to pray sincerely and to act accordingly, I would rather not pray at all.

If you believe in prayer at all, expect God to hear you. If you do not expect, you will not have. God will not hear you unless you believe He will hear you; but if you believe He will, He will be as good as your faith.

If indeed this is the work of God... then it's a crisis that calls for the church to be its very best self, and not worry about risking itself for the right thing.

I am a Christian. I haven't really talked about that before. It is something very private. But I do pray and my beliefs are very important to me.
