I don't think there's a major change between runway and real life anymore.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Fashion shows used to be more crazy. Now they've become a bit too serious.
I'd rather be on the cast of 'Love & Hip-Hop' than 'Project Runway.'
Sometimes I feel like what's hard for fashion designers to do is take looks from off the runway and actually put it into existence, into reality. That's really the hard part.
I think reality TV for dancers has changed for the better. There are more opportunities and the platforms that we are being given are better. We have more job security and TV is allowing different levels of dance to come through to the forefront. People can now take their abilities and turn them into brands and make these top dollars.
Reality TV has taken over.
The trend now is to get away from stage bound sitcoms.
For better or worse, in the 21st century, reality shows are the variety show.
Every woman is not a runway model, nor should she be.
There isn't that disconnect between the fashion industry and people now - you can be a trendsetter even if you don't go to shows. The industry isn't as snobbish as it used to be.
I think the tone of the show has certainly changed over the years, because it's really, really hard to do something different when you have a show going on as long as this has.
