When I was young, I assumed that authors must have traveled the world or done exotic things in order to tell great stories.

What's fascinated me from the time I was a little kid was the way we construct our lives through stories.

I always figure from the cradle to the grave, we all have our individual journeys, and maybe my journey was a positive one and I accomplished certain things without stepping on too many toes.

I feel very privileged to have reached so many kids because a life without stories, without the power of books, would be a very grey world, it's good to add colour.

Every kid has a story to tell!
