Bad stories are written about me because the press knows they can make me into a weeping dog and few people will object.

Investigators have discovered that dogs can laugh, which can't be too big of a surprise.

Something even minor I do is going to be reported because of things that have happened in the past. You have to be aware of that.

I do have a couple of pets, but I am determined to keep them out of the media spotlight.

I go through my comments sometimes, and I'll just take snapshots of the terrible ones and send them to my friends. I know it's horrible, but they actually make me laugh. They make my day.

One day, I made a remark that I might work with people with mental illness, and somebody in the press heard it, and it was in the paper. And the more I thought about it and found out about it, the more I thought it was just a terrible situation with no attention. And I've been working on it ever since.

I'm terrible about people wanting to take pictures with me. I'm a giant baby about it. They treat you like a cartoon. There's nothing you can do except make light of it. That's if I'm in the mood - sometimes I get superbummed.

I have two dogs and a parrot, so they require a lot of attention. They deserve it.
