I'm a bit multifaceted in the sense that I've got many more than one musical taste. If you think about it, I started out playing in a punk band and ended up doing electro-pop. That was more an accident than a plan.

I'm fine with being thought of as a guitar player, and if I can get any recognition or respect for doing that, that's a pretty good thing for me.

I have many musical inspirations, but I would really love to just be me. My very own artist.

Although I have guitars all around, and I pick them up occasionally and write a tune and make a record, I don't really see myself as a musician. It may seem a funny thing to say. It's just like, I write lyrics, and I make up songs, but I'm not a great lyricist or songwriter or producer. It's when you put all these things together - that makes me.

I had my guitar and some talent so that I could make friends with intelligent people and could talk my way out of difficult situations.

I can't really see myself as an artist. Now, to step out here and there, do it when I feel like it, that's a possibility. But for me to be a full-fledged, full-time artist in the industry, I don't think so.

I am a musician, but I'm another type of musician.

I'm a songwriter and I'd love to make that a part of my career.

In another life, I would love to be the art guy - a production designer or a maybe even a composer.

Hopefully, I have a certain amount of what you call musical talent.
