Oftentimes, actors don't have the luxury of picking their part. You go from one project to the next, and you hope that you find one that fits you and that you're suited for, and then they see that you're fit for it.

There's something important, as an actor, about allowing yourself to be approached by people to do roles. People see different things in you.

The thing about being an actor is that you turn into other people. You have to hide yourself a bit in order to let that other person come out.

People are really emotionally affected by actors. And it's hard to know how to behave in a way that doesn't impose or withdraw. Because everybody wants your attention. Everywhere you go, you know?
