Since I was a child, everyone would ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up. Was I going to be a designer? It's as if there was a path drawn for me, and I could see, from where I was standing, exactly where it ended.

You don't have that much choice in your life, which is one of the big lessons I've learned. I was going to be a designer whether I wanted to be a designer or not.

This is what I like about being a designer: You can't really get it until you see it.

I didn't long to be a designer. I always liked fashion, but it was always a bit sleeping in me.
