All that pop that you see on the radio? It's just the worst crud I've ever heard in my life. It's designed to make money, and that's about it.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I seriously hate pop music and all things super-commercial.
A lot of pop music is about stealing pocket money from children.
I would rather fall flat on my face than try to just make a quick dollar by making music that fits into the radio format right now. It does nothing for me.
Radio stinks. The stations are making a lot of money, but they just aren't taking chances.
I love pop music, but I feel like the genre is overpopulated - there was so much bubblegum for a while, but I feel like Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran are bringing good, real music back to the radio.
Ironically, the success I've experienced at country radio has left me ostracized from pop and other formats of radio.
What's missing from pop music is danger.
I rarely listen to commercial radio, and when I do, I'm shocked by how many ads there are, and how annoying they are, and how bad the radio station usually is.
Pop has to exist and it's a great thing.
The only thing that exists to me is commercial pop music.
