You'll find that no pride is greater than the pride that comes with being thick. Britain is filled with people who are really proud of their stupidity.

I also accept that job losses sometimes have to occur to restore failing companies to health.

Change is a process: future is a destination. People want a sense of hope, possibility and pride about Britain.

I was brought up in Britain, and I'm very proud of my Britishness and my culture.
