When I go into making a movie, personally, I don't try to bring other pieces of movies with me.

I try not to do scenes a certain way, because then I become conscious of it, and it dosen't come off as realistic. I try to make it so that I'm not really aware of what I'm doing.

I don't really mind not being a part of a film - because if there is no part for me, I will never force myself upon a film. I feel like it's just a distraction. If it is not organically incorporated into the story, it just feels like a stupid appearance, like a sort of wink. I hate that.

I get emotionally attached with every film I do, and that stops me from being critical. I can't fight my emotions.

I don't like films giving me answers. I like films that are provoking me, that are making me feel not only being in an easy place.

I don't really look like I do in any of my films.

I never feel like there's any one point to the film, to anything, to any of the movies I've made.

When I'm acting in a film that I'm not producing, I stay to myself.
