I haven't had to do too many, or many explicit ones. Everybody feels weird, and everybody is trying to tiptoe around and make you think they're not there. The last time I did a love scene, I couldn't keep a straight face.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
It's always a little nerve-wracking to do a love scene, more than anything because it's just awkward.
I think explicit love scenes are a turn off unless it's the kind you read with one hand.
I happen to know there is nothing sexy or romantic about love scenes. They are just awful to do.
I don't find intimate scenes more difficult than other scenes.
The romance stuff is easy. A sex scene... that's hard, because you don't know what to do. Those scenes are awkward.
I prefer love scenes to be shot up close with a lot of focus on eyes and mouths. Otherwise it can feel uncomfortable and voyeuristic.
Sometimes I think I've been too honest, and other times, too explicit.
I think the only thing that I really haven't done much in, and I haven't felt too attracted to, is romantic comedies.
I'm used to a lot of love scenes. I'm used to something that requires me to kick up my heels and wink-wink, flirt-flirt with a twirl of my skirt.
It's very liberating to be naked in front of a hundred people, but there's nothing sexual about lovemaking on a movie set.
