I naturally want to be provocative.

I feel like you can't get an audience to like your character if she's actually cool, but you can if she's trying to be cool and sometimes fails.

The only thing that my fans expect out of me is for it to be natural and not forced. They know me really well, and the moment I start to force something and pretend to be something I'm not, they're gonna pick up on it. They'll literally call me out on Twitter, like, 'Charlie, this is not you.'

Personally, I try to be provocative but not needlessly provocative in my work.

I am provocative, and I admit this. It isn't as if I'm only on the receiving end, a poor, frail little creature. I can be thoroughly nasty when I get going, and I don't pull my punches.

I know a lot of people think, 'She's so glamorous.' But that's really not me at all.

I always try to be very human in my performances and hang out with my fans. It is cool to be a celebrity, but at the end of the day I want to empower my audience and say, 'Hey, I am just like you.'

I enjoy provocative things that are questionable.

I tend to hide behind my status of being a diva; it's easy for me to embrace that part of me and seek confidence by being a bit outrageous at times.

I love that my fans are cool with me being lovey-dovey about my wife rather than pretending that I'm single and trying to act all sexy onstage.
