This is how Venezuela has presented itself. Bolivar's home has sought a nonpermanent seat on the Security Council.

We are all equal children before our mother; and India asks each one of us, in whatsoever role we play in the complex drama of nation-building, to do our duty with integrity, commitment and unflinching loyalty to the values enshrined in our Constitution.

To free us from the expectations of others, to give us back to ourselves - there lies the great, singular power of self-respect.

Our culture, language, history, and values are vital to uniting us as a nation.

Boundaries, and countries, if we don't have that we are all brothers and sisters, we can all have love and joy and compassion for each other: the world would be much more beautiful.

It must be a balance in everything we do, not too much of everything, keep it simple, not complicated.

We want to live, love and build a just and peaceful society. We dedicate ourselves to working with our neighbors day in and day out to create this peaceful society.
