One thing I learned about riding is to look for trouble before it happens.

I mean, I grew up riding. I can't ever remember not being able to ride or rope and all that stuff. It was part of my life growing up, so it was fun for me.

My mum used to ride, and when she was mucking out, I always wanted to sit on a horse. And if she took me off, I'd scream my head off.

I've learnt that you never know what is around the corner, so it's best to enjoy the ride.

I never ride just to ride. I ride to catch a fox. I play baseball to make the team.

And in 'Frisco Kid' and in 'The Woman in Red' I had to ride badly. Then you have to really ride well in order to ride badly.

I never learned to ride a bicycle, and it is too late now. I never learned to drive. I never learned to swim.

No matter how long I go without riding winners, I know in the back of my head that I can ride.
