I was one of those weird children that just couldn't talk to people, so I kind of had to make myself be not like that because I knew it was going to hinder me.

I grew up being terrified of my parents, particularly my father figures.

People probably thought I was scary, but I was just uncomfortable with attention and tended to be a little closed off, except with friends. I learned to embrace the attention.

I was afraid of just about everything in this world, with the possible exception of my mother and I wasn't too sure about her.
