When actors get a bad name for diva behavior - I've never seen it. Because my experience with people who are really famous actors is that they work really hard.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
As a young actor, it's important to see how the greatest in the industry work... diva behavior is never it.
Celebrities become divas because they get pampered so much, babied so much - then they get used to it.
It's a shame to call somebody a 'diva' simply because they work harder than everybody else.
I don't do divas. I don't do entourages. I don't do the Hollywood crap.
I've seen the real extreme diva behaviour and I don't think that's who I am.
That term's definitely got a negative aura to it, because people think a diva is somebody with an attitude who demands things all the time. Of course there is that type of diva, but my idea of a diva has always been a singer - whether male or female - who gets on that stage and captivates you with their presence and their voice.
A lot of people assume that once you're working in Hollywood you become some sort of glamour-diva, which could not be further from the truth about me.
Actors don't get to be well-known if they're horrible.
I think we can all be divas, but as an actress, you can't only be the diva; that would be boring. But sometimes, perhaps, it's fun.
Believe me, when an actress is told that her very name is synonymous with bad acting, she's had it.
