I enjoy playing golf, but no, I don't think golf helps driving. It does take my mind away from driving, though; every time I play golf, I don't think about Formula 1.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Golf isn't just about hitting a lot of drivers. I grew up playing on my front lawn, chipping and putting into soup cans, out of the ivy and over rose bushes and hedges - the little Alcott Golf and Country Club. I just loved having a wedge in my hands.
There are so many aspects of the game that you can work on - you can drive it father, you can drive it straighter, you can hit your irons higher and more consistently, you can get better with your wedges, and you can always putt better. There's never an end to that striving to get better in golf.
Golf is just for fun. I have no time to be a pro golfer, not even after F1. I think it's too late and I'm too old to learn now. Golf is just a hobby and maybe I can improve a little bit more.
See, as much as I love the game, golf was my vehicle to competition. And I love to compete.
I do love golf.
There are so many lessons in life that can be learned through golf. I am not afraid to say that I am still learning some of them and probably will continue for some time.
I think one reason people play golf is it allows them to obsess about something other than the daily crap. It takes your mind off that.
The top golfers in the world are like Formula One cars when it comes to their swings.
How can you get tired of playing golf?
Golf is hugely important, as it keeps me going.
