Music is just a really fun hobby that I do, because I'm actually really good about writing songs and producing. People don't realize this, but I am an excellent writer for artists.

The way that I've always gone about making music, the rule of thumb, has just been to make what I love.

I've had the healthy and sobering experience of constantly working with music that is invariably better than any performance of it can be.
