Never stop paying attention to things. Never make your mind up finally. Do not hold beliefs.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I used to think religion was just more of the same thing. Dump responsibility on the big guy. Now I see an importance in that. It's a relief to accept that not everything is under your control.
Think before you act and act on what you believe.
Religion is just mind control.
I gave up religious thinking a long time ago and am really just an agnostic now.
I learned long ago to focus on things you can control and don't even pay attention to things you don't.
If you are part of a religion that very strongly insists that you believe then to decide not to do that is quite a big hurdle to jump over. You never forget the thought process you went through. It becomes part of your whole intellectual picture.
Just believe in what you're doing, and keep doing it.
Do not flinch from experiences that might destroy your beliefs. The thought you cannot think controls you more than thoughts you speak aloud. Submit yourself to ordeals and test yourself in fire. Relinquish the emotion which rests upon a mistaken belief, and seek to feel fully that emotion which fits the facts.
I'm pretty much done with mindfulness. I'm just going to start paying attention.
It is important to keep your head up and follow what you believe is right.
