Sometimes people ask, 'What do you wish for your children?' and all I say is, 'I want them to be happy being them.'

I will encourage my kids in everything that life has to offer.

Here in America, those who once had no hope will give their kids the chance at a life they always wanted for themselves. Here in America, generations of unfulfilled dreams will finally come to pass.

If I had one wish for my children, it would be that each of them would reach for goals that have meaning for them as individuals.

I save my dreams and hopes for my kids. When I'm making a wish under a bridge or tunnel, it's always for them.

I am just happy that I have children. I don't care what they want to do!

I hope children will be happy with the books I've written, and go on to be readers all of their lives.
