I hope to devote all of my spare time, which ordinarily would go to research, my summers, and every ounce of strength I can muster to further the project.

I would like all my friends, followers, fans and fellow travelers to know that I am fighting cancer and will therefore be taking a break from performing while getting the treatment and cure. I shall of course be continuing to write music - in my world it just has to be part of the therapy - and I fully expect to be back in good shape next year.

I hope I can become a voice for all cancers and all patients.

I'm going to write a book, continue acting, continue motivational speaking and just share with people who I am and what I've learned in my second chance of life and pass it on to people in their first chance of life.

We're going to raise a lot of money for cancer awareness, give some to the American Cancer Society and hopefully make a big difference.

I can cure AIDS, and I will.

I want to fight and win the war on cancer.

I'm holding onto the hope that there is some reason that I got cancer and there is something - that may not be very clear to me right now - but that I will do.

I'm going to show up and do my job to the best of my abilities every day, every week.
