I love watching live shows from different artists from different stages of their lives. I'm always interested in the mastery of the live performance.

We always thought it strange that nobody was up on that stage playing soul stuff. Maybe people were playing it in their garages, like us, but they always reverted to pure rock when they got on stage.

There is nothing like a live performance. You can look at things on television, and you can look at things on YouTube, but when you get in a room full of people and you say one joke, and everyone's laughing at the same thing, it's a really great experience.

In my imagination yes, I remember, when I was six years old, I was conducting all this concert in my house. But now it's real.

If I think about the way I was drawn into the music, it was much more by recordings than by live performances.

I mean, like, rock n' roll was always about spirit and fun.

We've never performed the song live outside of recording it in the studio. That was a dream come true because Whitney, she's an icon and she's been one of my main mentors in this business.

Honestly, live is my favorite way of performing. Every show is a completely different energy.
