Growing up, I was blessed to be part of a great church. This is where I met many friends who have encouraged me in my life to live strong for Christ. My church is a place where I can develop friendships with others that will encourage me in my walk with Christ.

I think we are all trying to figure out what it means to be the Church as opposed to just doing church.

I think in church you're raised like God is God and you are here.

I do know this... I seem to reach a lot of previously unchurched people. So many people have told me they never went to church until they heard our message of hope that God is a good God who desires to bless those who are faithful and obedient to Him through Jesus Christ.

I don't have to go to church. The church is within me and the experience is my own. It's my life experience.

People go to church for the same reasons they go to a tavern: to stupefy themselves, to forget their misery, to imagine themselves, for a few minutes anyway, free and happy.

While I have never been a regular churchgoer, I'm anything but immune to the power and the majesty of the religious experience.

There's nobody who doesn't have problems with the church, because there's sin in the church. But there's no other place to be a Christian except the church.
