Whether we want to acknowledge it or not, Jesus didn't do it the world's way. He came in and offended the world. He came in and did everything the wrong way.

I believe that Jesus was, you know, the Son of God. And I understand that... we need to be really, really respectful to people who find that ridiculous and... preposterous.

If the message of Jesus was love, hope and compassion, and I can bring that to more people by being a more appealing Jesus, I am happy with that.

When I say, 'I love Christ and love the teachings of Christ,' I mean that in the most simple and naive way. I'm not saying I'm right.

If you really believe in the message you're preaching, you want as many people as possible to listen.
