Children are far more interesting to work with than grownups. They're incredibly honest. They'll tell you exactly what they think.

Well I had my kids so young that I kind of feel that I'm a kid too and am growing up with them. The things they're interested in tend to really influence me.

Kids - in a really good way - can talk about their differences without the baggage that adults have.

Also, I realized a lot of kids are listening to me. Whether I want to be or not, they're looking up to me.

I don't think any of my kids would have a good word to say about me. I think they deny that they even know me. At school, they pretend they are Anton du Beke's kids.
