I like to be able to control which players I'm working with. Because it doesn't matter how good a coach you are if the guys you're working with think they already know it all. You need a response, you need to feel they're trying. I want players who are always striving to improve.

I like to watch the men play. I like the way that they're playing, and I can always learn something from them. They're playing differently than the women, so I like to learn from them as well.

I like playing. I wouldn't be a good coach. I don't have the patience to be a coach.

Whether it's a friendly match, or for points, or a final, or any game - I play the same. I'm always trying to be my best, first for my team, for myself, for the fans, and to try and win.

The main thing is, wherever I play, I enjoy it and help the team.

I've used my experience from playing sports in almost every aspect of my life. Playing soccer is where I found my voice, and playing softball was where I learned precision, and in every game I learned to play as a member of a team - to work not for my own glory, but for a shared goal.

I like being part of teams that go into things that people don't think are doing very well and getting into them to do better.

I think each player has an individual style. Each is concerned with giving the best to his team, and I think my best talent is dribbling and setting up goal situations, giving an assist or deceiving one of the other team's players.

I gravitate toward the team thing. I'm not a golfer - I much prefer basketball.
