I have had an interest in art since childhood. I loved to draw as a child and still do.

I love painting. I went to college in fine arts, and I still do it all the time.

I've always been a creative person, and I'd always wanted to paint, so I went to art school and began painting and sculpting.

As I very much liked to draw and paint as a child, I entered a special art program in high school, which was very much like being in an art school imbedded in a regular high school curriculum.

In school, some of my favorite subjects... I mean, art was my favorite subject. I loved art! I used to go during lunch time to the art room and paint or draw or something.

My own interest in art was because of my mother. My father didn't like contemporary art, so he didn't give her large sums to spend. So, she began buying prints and drawings. During my school days, I remember sitting in on many of the early meetings.

I love art, but I'm not an academic; I just like what I like.
