I say to my colleagues never confine your best work, your hopes, your dreams, the aspiration of the American people to what will be signed by George W. Bush because that is too limiting a factor.

Get off your bottom and be the stand, and do the work you can to pursue the American Dream for yourself, and help others to do the same.

I won't stop fighting to make life better for working Americans and give those who are just trying to find a decent job the opportunity to do so.

We must stop talking about the American dream and start listening to the dreams of Americans.

The American dream is under assault.

Remember when I told you about the American dream? That if you worked hard enough and tried hard enough and kicked yourself in the butt, you'd succeed? Well, I think I did, I think I did.

There are all these people in this country who are just not participating in the American Dream at all.

To realize the American dream, the most important thing to understand is that it belongs to everybody. It's a human dream. If you understand this and work very hard, it is possible.
