Performing is an experience, for me, that is as humbling as it is energizing.

For me, performance is a holy ground. When I perform, I really step into a different state of consciousness.

Performing is a profound experience, at least for me. It's not as if I sit down and play 'Fire and Rain' by myself, just to hear it again. But to offer it up... the energy that it somehow summons live takes me right back, and I do get a reconnection to the emotions.

Giving a good performance, giving it all is what it's all about. I love to perform.

Performing, for me, has always been a very inner process.

For me personally, my favourite part of performing is just going in the crowd and doing crazy things that they never expected to see. Challenging myself to do new things that I never expected to do. That's the biggest thing for me.

I've always known that performing is what I want to do. There was never a defining moment. I just came out that way.

Performing is my passion. Being onstage is at once exhilarating, beguiling, and fulfilling. But it's hard.

Performing doesn't come that naturally to me, even though I've done it for years.

I'm a performer and have managed to get my performing into the mainstream consciousness of the world, I guess.
