I love 'MacGyver.' I do!

I'm a little younger than these guys, but I would say all of us are huge fans of the original 'MacGyver' series, and obviously we found that inspiration for the original pitch for 'MacGruber.'

'MacGruber' came to life mostly because we just liked saying 'MacGyver.' 'MacGyver' this. 'MacGyver' that. It's a great word.

I think you'd have to live under a rock to not know who MacGyver is.

'MacGyver' of course, that's probably my favorite show of all time because it was a guy who was so, so smart and could use his wits, and his technical know-how could get him out of any situation.

My dad's nickname was MacGyver when we were kids. He'd hijack my projects all the time. When I got older, he would not do it as much... but he would just end up hijacking the whole thing. You should see the look in his eyes when he gets to create stuff.

See, it's kind of like James Bond. There's a new James Bond every couple of years. Maybe I can do the new 'MacGyver' and put my own twist on it.

I like 'MacNeil/Lehrer.'
