If nothing else, I want women to understand that they are powerful. If you look back at history, in almost every big moment, in every leap forward, you find ordinary women at the core. We have more ability to make changes in the world than we can imagine if we have the courage to try.

We live in an era of globalization and the era of the woman. Never in the history of the world have women been more in control of their destiny.

As we get used to women in power, we are likely to discover that they behave much like powerful men - vain, entitled, always looking for more.

I hope that through Fast Forward, we can encourage women everywhere to know their power wherever they find themselves; to find their purpose; and to connect with others in order to create a better world - especially for women and girls.

The women I gravitate to are the ones who defy convention and reinvent themselves - hence, they reinvent the world around them.

I think, certainly in the more civilized societies, women's roles are growing in power all of the time.

That's all I could ever hope for, to have a positive effect on women. 'Cos women are powerful, powerful beings. But they're also the most doubtful beings. They'll never know - we'll never know - how powerful we are.

Women don't realize how powerful they are.

I really want women to appreciate their power. It was obvious to me that lots of people are comfortable with power, and they see what it can do, but women's expression of it was never as comprehensive as it could be. It seemed like an amazing gift that Oxygen could give.

I have found that women have so much unleashed power that they don't really utilize because they don't have confidence in themselves about who they are and what they can do.
